EL MURAL DE LAS ALTAS CAPACIDADES

El próximo jueves 25 de mayo de 2017 exponemos en la Facultad de Psicología (1ª planta) metáforas pictóricas del colectivo de altas capacidades intelectuales, en tres murales. Los asistentes podrán dibujar su propia metáfora, conocer los resultados sobre esterotipos actuales hacia este colectivo, e incluso votar la representación pictórica más acertada del total de 62 expuestas.   

Abierto de 9:oo a 14:oo horas.
Regalo-recuerdo para los primeros 300 visitantes.
Posibilidad de conocer a representantes de ASACus y hacerse socios in situ (no hay cuota).

CONFERENCIA DE LIANNE HOOGEVEEN EN PSYCHOLOGY OF GROUPS

VISIT OF PROFESSOR LIANNE HOOGEVEEN, FROM THE NETHERLANDS

Title: Individualized inclusion: Utopia or the Best of both Worlds? Education has always played an important role in the development of countries (Green, 2013), but the goal of education has changed over time, from drill and memorization of words, sentences, and facts in the 17th and 18th century , via 19th century European nationalism – education has the power to shape the future of nations as well as individuals-, to present education. Today, Europeans acknowledge that education is a fundamental right for everyone, which means that every European country should develop the most appropriate education in relation to the needs of all students and enable all students to develop their potential to the fullest (Eurydice, 2006, 2014). In 1994, the Council of Europe highlighted the special educational needs of students with exceptional potential, stating that gifted children should be able to benefit from appropriate educational conditions that would allow them to develop their abilities fully. The challenge is: how can we do that, taking our wish to inclusion in account? That’s where this presentation is about: how can we meet the educational needs of students with exceptional potential without being unfair to the other students.



Lianne Hoogeveen (NL) is developmental psychologist at  CBO Talent Development in Nijmegen. She is employed at two Dutch university. At Radboud university, she is the coordinator and one of the teachers of the master program 'Gifted Education', and program coordinator of the post-academic training for School Psychologists and  the ECHA training for Specialist in Gifted Education. At Leiden University, she is part of the coordinating team and one of the teachers of the master 'Schoolpsychology'. She is member of the General Committee of the European Council for High Ability (ECHA), president of the qualification committee of the European Talent Centers and vice-president of the Educational Board of ECHA. Lianne Hoogeveen is a guest teacher in several other European and non-European universities. She is involved in scientific research on giftedness and education in cooperation with colleagues of other universities, in- and outside the Netherlands.
